Enroute Control is a branch of Radar Control responsible for movements outwith any aerodrome's airspace.

Responsibilities of an Enroute Controller

  • Ensuring that metal does not hit metal
  • Providing radar vectors to create an efficient sequence
  • Ensuring airspace does not get overloaded
  • Providing appropriate information to aircraft
